JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

and choreographed by the internationally acclaimed Robert Young. WITH THIS 2005 PRODUCTION JOHN PAUL COLLEGE DARED TO LIFT THE DREAM What a kaleidoscope of song and dance! This rocking extravaganza thrilled the audience with its tale of life and jealousy, power and enslavement, guilt and innocence. It was Rotorua's 2005 show of the year, a couldn't miss production with a performance beyond the years of the cast. With their rainbow ride through ancient Egypt they told the story through song and dance of Joseph the world's worst brat and his dreams and adventures. In a jam-packed show the excitement, energy, musical variety and incredibly witty lyrics from Tim Rice were brought to life by this well rehearsed and enthusiastic cast of young men and women. The John Paul College orchestra performed Webber's clever and uplifting music that included country, rock, calypso and many other musical styles; guaranteed to keep the full houses singing for days. This rock Musical by the famous Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, exploded onto the Convention Centre stage with a dynamic cast of 100 performers and musicians supported by well managed crew in a truly GALA performance.
